Sgt pepper
I did not really like the sgt pepper album by the beatles, because it just didnt seem like they're style..i know that they cant stay the same forever but i enjoyed the early albums about love and what not alot more than i do these newer ones. Revolver, i can dig but i just cant fit in to much with this album..sorry

simon and garfunkel
And its definitley not like any music that ive ever heard but it wasnt really bad..all the music that we listened to were all completly new to me. Ive never heard more than 5 miniutes of metal unless im playing guitar hero or something but other than that i cant stand it..whats the point of having a lead singer if you cant understand WTF hes saying. Whatever..And frank zappa, i was interested in his music, it was really really different then ive ever heard but it was good music that ive never heard in my life before.

yeah its revolver
yep i got it right, the album name is revolver and after hearing some more of it i like it. The album cover is probably one of the most revoloutionary of their time too. The art looks like some sort of modern day hipster cover, which isnt really a bad thing because it looks modern regardless of it looking hipsterish.

Revolver
Im prettty sure that we listened to revolver if not then im gonna call it revolver anyways. I really liked the pyschedelic feel beacause "Are you be experienced" by the jimi hendrix experience is one of my top 5 albums ever and that album only came out 1 year after revolver which from what i read, is considered one of the first if not the first psychedelic albums ever. The only song i actually know off of that album is yellow submarine which i hear every time when im at OLD NAVY and ive only been to old navy like 7 times so that means ive heard it every single time.

More motown
What we listened to the other day was true smooth music that was really enjoyable and it looks like that alot of other artist have sampled alot of motown classics. For example Otis reddings' "try a little tenderness" was sampled in Kanye west and Jay-z's "otis" and im sure many people did not know who the man singing in the beggining was (including me im not gonna lie) but now i know who he was.

Bob dylan
That is the first time in my life that ive ever heard bob dylan before, and i dont really know what to say..Definetly different then the rock music ive heard before.. But that wasnt rock, but more of a folk musicy. I just checked all of his albums and 35 albums is alot..most hitmakers put out like 8-12 albums life time-maybe but 35? That is alot of albums.. But ill give him another shot

The most recent beatles movie that we watched..
I did not know what was going on at all. From the looks of it, the plot was resolved around the ring pop on ringos finger. Other than that i dont know what they were talking about i didnt know how they got the ring pop I dont know man i just dont know...Then next thing you know theyre in the middle of a warzone with the syrians or something after they just got back from some snowy area. I just dont know..

Rubber soul
I cant say that i really liked rubber soul.. Ive liked all of The Beatles albums so far but im not really a fan of this one. I dont know why but i just dont like their style on this one, its to sad and just different..I cant realy describe why i dont like it i just dont like this one in particular. My favorite album is Please Please me mainly because its a debut album and im a SUCKER for debut albums, because if you have a good debut album, then you have extremly high standards to live up to any others that you release.

Are you experienced?
The album that ive been listening to as of late is the debut album by jimi hendrix ,The Jimi hendrixs experience: Are you experienced? It is the only the second rock album that ive ever listened to (appeptite for destuction the other one) and this one is by far superior. Jimi hendrixs guitar skills are just unexplainable and the fact that he uses feedback to his advantage is even better. If you heard a modern guitarist playing with feedback at a concert, youd probably cover you ears in disgust. The drummer in the band, Mitch mitchells is also a really good drummer but the fact that he played with jimi largely overshadowed his career and talent. So far my favorite songs off the album are: Third stone from the sun, red house and fire. All the other songs are great but in these particular ones, the guitar is mainly showcased. In my opinion i consider hendrix one of the if not the greatest guitarist of all time, and he died (or was killed) way to early.
beatles album
sorry i forgot the album name..horrible memory, but anyways that album was borderline trip-adelic with sitars and what not. I mean not saying its really a bad thing but its definetely what you would expect from the beatles. As their albums progressed so did their music. It went from love songs and fun to this weird depressed or pyschadelic stuff. That one that song that you played at the end was pretty cool, the one with the sitar in it i think. Either the way the album was pretty cool.
