led zeppelin
I never knew what led zeppelin even sounded like until i heard them Thursday and i like they're sound. Its kind of bluesy which i wasn't really expecting but they're lyrics are awful but that doesn't even matter to me because i listen to some songs with reeeeealy awful lyrics but that isn't going to stop me from listening if the song has good sound to it. So overall, i like LZ but i wouldn't exactly go off and download any songs of theirs just yet.

No new music in while
Its kinda weird because i haven't found any new music to listen to. I usually find alot of new music during the month but i haven't even really been listening to music in general over this past month so maybe that why..
woodstock (edited dec .12)
I have always been interested in woodstock ever since i saw something on tv a long time ago about it. Ive liked all the performances so far and i dont think ive ever seen anybody play an electric guitar the way tat richie haven played it. That was just a really different style of play that i didnt think you could do with an acoustic. I also like doing deep research and if i could, id try to find the people who did those interviews and see what they look now.
I honestly did not know that santana has been playing since the late 70s. I knew that the fellow playing the guitar looked familiar but i just couldnt put my finger on who he was. I looked him up thinking that was him and i got it confirmed. That is the kind of rock music that i like. Just Straight instruments and not that much lyrics. The drummer also had that monster solo that faded out to soft then faded back to up pace fast tempo. The type of music what they were playing is what i would call "electric latino blues" not sure if thats already a genre but thats what im going to go with for now.

Johnny cash
Ive always liked johnny cash , i saw his movie and everythng but pryor that i only knew 2 songs by him. "walk the line" and "ring of fire". I dont remember how i found out about these 2 songs but im glad that i did. I was obsessed with these songs along with "the other side" by the doors (probably mentioned in my other blog). I would call him rock but im not sure how to explain. The only thing that makes him sound "country" is his voice i guess but still his style is that of a rock n rollist.

white album
I actually really liked the white album, i didnt i think i would be to fond of it but i like it alot. It has so many different generes of songs it seems like and theyre all good in their own ways. You could obviously tell they sounded all out of whack on the first song, as if they were forced to make that song, let along forced to make the whole album. Anyways i liked it.

The doors
The doors are one of the first rock and roll bands i ever heard but i didn't really know to much about them when i first heard them. Back in elementary school i heard "the other side" on a video game and that was probably 1 of 6 songs on my mp3 player at that time, so im reeeally familiar with that song.
